Clinic-based US veteran population, polysomnography + monitoring, evaluated various arrhythmia types relative to SDB severity.

Key Findings:

  • Moderate-severe sleep disordered breathing (SDB) had ~2-3× odds of nocturnal arrhythmias (supraventricular, ventricular extrasystoles, conduction delay) compared to no SDB.
